Veterinary Clinic ERP — Multi-Tenant SaaS Platform
How Tedbin rebuilt a veterinary clinic management platform into a scalable multi-tenant SaaS, serving multiple clinics with 83K+ lines of code.
Project Overview
A veterinary clinic group operating multiple locations across the country needed to modernize their management platform. The existing monolithic system was becoming a bottleneck — when one clinic experienced high load, all clinics were affected. Downtime at one location meant downtime everywhere. Tedbin was brought in to rebuild the platform from the ground up, creating a system where each clinic could operate and scale independently while sharing the same underlying infrastructure.
Architecture & Migration
We migrated from a single monolithic application to a multi-tenant architecture with independent, scalable services. Each clinic now runs in isolation — their data, configurations, and operational workflows are fully separated. This means updates can be rolled out per-clinic, load spikes at one location don't affect others, and new clinics can be onboarded in hours rather than weeks. The migration was performed incrementally with zero downtime, moving modules one at a time while maintaining full backward compatibility.
Core Features
The platform handles every aspect of veterinary clinic operations: patient records with full medical history, appointment scheduling with automated reminders, billing and invoicing, inventory management for medications and supplies, and multi-location reporting. Over 83,000 lines of code power a comprehensive system that veterinary staff use every day. The interface was designed with clinic workflows in mind — common tasks like check-ins, prescriptions, and billing take minimal clicks.
Results & Impact
The rebuilt platform dramatically improved reliability and performance. Each clinic now operates independently with its own resource allocation, eliminating the cascading failures of the monolithic system. Onboarding new clinic locations went from a multi-week process to a same-day setup. The veterinary staff reported significant time savings in daily operations, particularly in patient record management and billing workflows. The platform continues to serve as the operational backbone for the clinic group's expansion plans.
